Tejas

Since I was little I always wanted to go to Texas and this weekend I finally got to go! Although it wasn't a trip filled with live country bands and horses everywhere as I'd always imagined, it WAS filled with authentic bbq food, stunning caverns, a lovely riverwalk, cute little shops, and great company.

San Antonio is such an awesome city. I have the habit of falling in love with every city I visit (well, basically every place I visit) and this was no different. My boyfriend took me for a stroll along the Riverwalk and out for some delicious bbq and I have to say SA made a pretty great impression on me.

Despite a flat tire on the way home, and a few other bumps in the road, the trip was a much-needed break from New Orleans. However, I'm ready to get back to NOLA and get my Cajun on.
